Senior Estimator and Buyer

If you’re the experienced and knowledgeable Senior Estimator we’re looking for, you’ll be precise, systematic and have high standards that ensure every tender is thorough and informative to the client. This is a role where you will have the opportunity to develop your existing skills and be a leader in your department, focusing on being knowledgeable in your field and offering the best, most cost effective solutions.

You’ll take ownership of estimating projects and completing tenders, looking for cost saving solutions for the company and building supplier relationships. You’ll be expected to successfully negotiate rates and to be awarded projects from clients.

You’ll be focused, consistent and logical. You’ll have  prior knowledge of estimating and be confident in your ability to understand economics and construction.

You will be joining a dynamic and supportive company that will provide experiences in various sectors of the construction industry. You’ll be provided with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge base and become an integral part of this growing team whilst working on projects that benefit local communities and cities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Degree in a construction related field (e.g. Quantity Surveying)
• Previous experience in pricing refurbishment tenders
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge of fit out and refurbishment
• Experience in project value from £50,000 to £1,500,000
• Confident in negotiating
