The brief

The space at 264 Brompton Road was being completely overhauled to make way for Tom Sellers new Restaurant, ‘Ours’. On this project, we were asked to create some of the centrepieces of the space, including the upstairs bar, the waitress stations, the staircase, the catwalk entrance and the private dining room.

Design

Working with the restaurant owner, we developed a design to enhance elements in two of the bar areas and to get the most out of the impressive restaurant entrance.

Manage and build

We faced the challenge of building an elevated curved brass wall around the private dining room on the mezzanine of the restaurant. The wall was engineered to support the weight of the brass, which had been moulded to this unusual shape.

The finish

The completed project was finished to the quality standard expected from a Knightsbridge Restaurant. The bar area with its bespoke joinery and touches of brass reveal an elegant dining experience for the customer.
