Lancaster House, Birmingham

Appointed as principal contractor by MAPP, we delivered refurbishment and fit out works across 4 no. floors of the iconic portland stone office building within central Birmingham.

Our works consisted of:

  • New ceilings
  • Replacement of full mechanical and air conditioning
  • New flooring
  • Replacement of kitchens to offices
  • Decoration throughout
  • New electrical upgrade and LED lighting throughout

Lancaster House presented some challenges, mainly due to its location within central Birmingham, adjacent to the busy Great Charles Street Queensway and Newhall Street. 

We overcame the challenges by devising a strategy to ensure all deliveries were kept to a minimum and in line with the key dates on the schedule of works. Environmental benefits were also realised through reduced vehicle movements.
